Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
WeGen LLC ("WeGen," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
Information we collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:
- Contact us via email or phone
- Request a demo or consultation
- Use our conformance review services
This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and website URL.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and requests
- Provide conformance review and scanning services
- Send service-related communications
- Improve our services
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Conformance scan data
When we scan a website, we analyze publicly accessible pages. Scan results are stored securely and shared only with the authorized client who requested the scan. We do not publish or disclose scan results to third parties without your consent.
Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Data retention
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.
Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies. We do not use analytics services that collect personal data.
Categories of personal information we collect
We collect one category of personal information: identifiers you provide directly through our contact form or by emailing us. Specifically:
- Identifiers: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), organization name, and the website address you ask us to review.
- Message content: whatever you choose to write to us.
Source: directly from you. We do not buy personal information, and we do not collect it from data brokers or advertising networks.
Purpose: to answer your inquiry, scope and deliver a conformance review, and send you service-related communications about that work.
Who else sees it: our hosting, backup, and email providers process this information on our behalf so that we can operate. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights. We honor these requests regardless of your state of residence.
- Right to know. You can ask us what categories of personal information we hold about you, where we got it, why we have it, and who we disclosed it to. You can also request the specific pieces of information we hold.
- Right to access. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct. You can ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
- Right to delete. You can ask us to delete your personal information. We will do so unless we are required to keep it.
- Right to portability. You can request your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before it takes effect.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
- Right to opt out of communications. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email zeerohr@wegendigital.com. We will confirm we received your request and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why before that deadline passes. We may ask you to confirm details we already hold so we can be sure we are giving your information to you and not to someone else.
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of their authority.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request where state law requires it.
These rights come from state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code 1798.100 et seq.) and the New Hampshire Data Privacy Act (RSA 507-H). If you believe we have not resolved your request, California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency, and New Hampshire residents may contact the New Hampshire Attorney General.
Security incidents and breach notification
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access limited to personnel who need it, and a written incident response procedure.
If we determine that a security incident has exposed your personal information, we will notify you without unreasonable delay, consistent with our obligations under the New York SHIELD Act (N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law 899-aa), New Hampshire RSA 359-C:19-21, and other applicable state breach notification laws. Our notice will describe what happened, what information was involved, what we have done in response, and what you can do. Where the law requires it, we will also notify the relevant state authorities.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in our site or service, please report it to zeerohr@wegendigital.com. We investigate every report we receive.
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
